A Georgian villa in England

I am having some serious heart palpitations over this absolutely breathtaking Georgian villa in Bath, Somerset, England. With many of its original period features maintained, this home with its traditional decor and pastel colour scheme is simply magical. I would of course add a few more modern pieces here and there but there is SO much you could do with a structure this beautiful. And then the views! AHHH!!! Available as a location home via jj Locations.

Stalking SJB

I'm in Sydney, right on the harbour, stalking another apartment by SJB on the market with a price guide of $5 million. As they say "location, location, location" and I'll add "stylish, stylish, stylish." Light filled with pastel hues, lime-washed timber floor, whimsical, subtle and serene, a sugar coated almond. (You may remember the apartment from this post.) I wonder if the Navy vessel is included in the price? Guess not. Link here while it lasts.

Pretty pastels in a home in Paris

Jo has featured the work of Paris design firm GCG Architectes a few times here on the blog (like here, here and here) and I am totally smitten with this talented crew. Style out the wazoo, an unwavering need to add random colours, patterns and architectural details throughout their projects...their unique approach is unlike anything I have ever seen. Yep, safe to say I am their biggest fan. And this home in the Boulogne Billancourt suburb of Paris decked out in mostly pastels is fabulously random, as I would expect from GCG. Photos: Robin Petillault

A pretty kitchen by Caitlin Wilson

I don't typically use an adjective like 'pretty' to describe a kitchen but it's the first word that came to mind when I saw this space designed by San Francisco and Portland based Caitlin Wilson. Marble subway tile, mostly white cabinets, brass, pastel accents...I can't help it. SO PRETTY!

A pretty Swedish apartment in a 1930s building

I absolutely adore this apartment for sale in a 1930s buidling in Gothenburg. Many of its original features have been lovingly restored to its former glory such as the beautiful wood floors, limestone window sills, wardrobes and fireplace. Add in some pretty pastel walls, a bit of wallpaper, some gorgeous art and modern furniture, and a bonus mezzanine space and you have quite a beauty. (Thank you Silje for the link to this space on Stadshem).
