Bleu Leman Design

California based interior designer Diane Leifer of Bleu Leman Design (named after the Swiss lake Lac Leman where she grew up) creates casual, classic spaces that exude a bit of the beach, a dash of rustic/industrial, a pinch of modern/contemporary...whatever style best suits her clients. The result is totally liveable, completely confortable and always timeless.

Guest house

Never mind the main house, I'm sure it is lovely. I'm moving into the guest house. Perched in the hills above Sonoma, California with views of vineyards and oak trees is this beautifully crafted stone cottage by Nicole Hollis. I would be the house guest from hell though. Why would I ever want to leave?

Restaurante Sexto

A huge thanks to David Zafra for sending us these photos of Restaurante Sexto in Madrid. David is responsible for the interior design and I can honestly say it's one of the most beautiful restaurants I have ever seen. The neutral colour palette is so soothing and his selection of modern seating is perfection. If the décor is this amazing the food must be heavenly!

Summer forever

I wish summer would last forever. To sit here at my computer with the window open and listen to the birds, traffic (LOL), and enjoy the cool breeze. To see green outside instead of white and brown. I could just move into a traditional Mediterranean villa such as this one and all would be right with the world. (I would have to add a bit of black and more modern and industrial touches to it though). Via Micasa.
