NORM

I can never get enough of Danish and Swedish architecture. It's totally a look I hope to achieve in some capacity with my home eventually. Ginger 62

I had to feature a commercial project designed by Beyond Beige that I found on their website - a Vancouver nightclub called Ginger 62. This place is HOT!! (Decorating a dressing room with a vibe similar to this would be fabulous!)

Water views

Contemporary home with water views. That's how the real estate ad should go. It would if I was writing it. Real estate stalking the suburbs of Melbourne. A clean contemporary look. Link here while it lasts. (Thanks again to my fellow stalker Andrea for the heads up on this one. Her comment? "Nice for a new house.")

Grabbing the leafy outside views and giving the space a sense of openness by removing walls architect Desmond Ong is a magician conjuring maximum impact with a very minimal aesthetic.

An extraordinary chalet in the Alps

My brother-in-law Dave sent me a link to quite an extraordinary chalet the other day, located in the Alps and designed by Parisian designer and interior architect Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance. It's far from your average cozy, sheepskin-filled chalet and is modern as modern gets. This chalet attempts to be typical with plenty of timber walls but it stops there. And why not?
