When Marilyn Monroe meets creams/grey/taupe, luscious fabrics and some marble. This stunning 19th century terraced home in London was lovingly refurbished and restored (including historic lath, horsehair plaster walls and hand detailed plasterwork) by Duck & Shed. Elegance and sophistication with a complete monochrome colour scheme.
I had to share this cozy little spot (LOL) in Biarritz, France because it is all about the details, and details that will knock your socks off! Elegant harlequin marble tile, beautifully detailed woodwork, stunning chandeliers, a marble bathroom to die for...it is exquisite all around. By Paris-based design couple Patrick Gilles and Dorothée Boissier.
It can be difficult to make a small kitchen fabulous, and this one by Ensemble Architecture (Elizabeth Roberts) may have a small footprint but it is high on style. I am not usually a fan of coloured marble but here it adds so much visual interest to an otherwise simple kitchen. Gorg!!
