Another location home

I have another Shoot Factory location home in London to share. This time it is fairly simple, and despite not being a lover of taupe-ish walls, I am enjoying these with fabulous black stained hardwood floors and white trim. I must mention the stack of Tolix armchairs that had me gasping in delight.

Crocodile Rocks

Unique Home Stays is a UK based company that offers accommodations in some of the most luxurious and grandest private houses in the UK and overseas. They have a little bit of everything, from castles to water mills, beachside havens to woodland hideaways. One of my favourite homes is called Crocodile Rocks, located in Elie and Earlsferry, Scotland. It's a Victorian beach house (such a quirky combo) that is completely modernized, and featured a really cool collection of artwork that I'm smitten with. Fresh and funky, this would be an amazing home to rent with a group of friends for a week-long party and sun and lots of frolicking on the beach. *sigh*

Old Villa

I've got another London location home beauty for you today, thanks to the folks at Shoot Factory. This one is called Old Villa, and old it certainly is. A little rough around the edges (is that a hole in the bathroom floor?) and a bit more traditional than we typically post but I love it for those qualities. My only beef is that gorgeous porcelain kitchen sink stuck in a corner, mounted on a rickety looking table. ODD. And how annoying if you've got a pile of dishes to do.

Minimalist in white

I'd like to share another beauty from Shoot Factory with you all today. After a chaotic day at the office, how lovely it would be to come home to a place like this - white, bright, minimal, slightly rustic, and just completely calming. Except maybe for the burnt out attic (after the jump). YIKES. Charred walls make for some gorgeous photos though. Imagine one of those blown up and framed in a simple thin black or white frame.

Something old, something new

I have another Shoot Factory location home in London for you all today. This time it's a wonderful juxtaposition of old and new. A stone house that looks to be about 200 years old filled with modern and mid century furnishings makes for an funky and eclectic space. Love the floors and retro trailer in the yard.
