A kitchen by Black Lacquer Design

This stunning kitchen has totally made my day. I am often faced with frustration when my husband and I cannot pass each other in our kitchen without knocking something over/stepping on toes and this kitchen is soooo roomy. The mint green cabinet colour is adorable, and paired with that gorgeous encaustic tile floor, brass accents, double doors streaming in light, an office and bar area (what I would use it for anyway)....it has EVERYTHING. A fun, fresh kitchen

Light, bright, fun and fresh. It may not be big on space but it's got everything I need including gorgeous sunshine steaming in and a cute dining nook. Forrest Ave. kitchen by Nashville-based Crowell + Co. Interiors.

A traditional green, marble and brass kitchen

I found this deVOL kitchen the other day on JJ Locations and I was completely shocked to discover how much I really REALLY love it. It could be because living in a traditional home for a couple of years now is rubbing off on me, or the fact that my kitchen can barely fit 2 people standing in it so anything roomy makes me envious. This kitchen is situated in a 1846 Victorian in London, and while I would consider changing a couple of things (that sofa in the corner isn't working - I love the idea of a settee just not that one, the table is missing a bench and I would paint out the inside of that hutch black and fill it with white dishes), this is the best take on a traditional kitchen I think I have ever seen. I don't even really like green and I love this. Crazy!

Kitchen of my dreams

It's a big call, dream kitchen, but the Arts and Crafts Kent Kitchen by London-based deVOL Kitchens is the stuff of my fantasies made real. From the shaker-style, dark blue cabinets to the white stone countertops, from the warm woods on the floor, table and island to the industrial lights, this wonderful family kitchen is now the inspiration for my own kitchen renovation in my 1860s home. Perfect, perfect, perfect ... except my room is nowhere near as big ... and I don't have double height ceilings or walls of glorious windows but I do have a brick fireplace and a range, wooden floors and a big imagination.

Matilda Rose Interiors

Alisha Hillery, of Matilda Rose Interiors based in NSW, Australia sent along some photos of a kitchen and bathroom renovation project she recently completed...and I love it so I absolutely had to share! Here are some details she provided: We knocked through the back of the house to build the kitchen extension and installed new windows and doors to let the space fill with natural light. We used a faux sandstone on the floor to give the feeling of warmth but without the staining issues you'd get with actual sandstone. The work surface used in the kitchen is Quantum Quartz - Statuario Quartz and the
backsplash is a mother of pearl mosaic tile. The light fixture is by Timothy Oulton from Coco Republic. The mosaic tile is soooooo gorgeous and I really like the effect of those faux sandstone tiles. And what's not to love about that graphic bathroom tile - I love that it continues up the wall. Fabulous job Alisha!
