When life is crazy then peace can be found here. Rockridge, a beach house in Palm Beach north of Sydney. Ah to be able to lock the world away and just relax.

Beach shack love

A small shack with jetty reaching out. The sound of water lapping gently. Laughter just before a splash and friends, lots of friends. I have dreams of the summer to come and this would be prefect. (Just as long as I don't have to dust it!)

Party day

I'd like to wish all my fellow Canadians a Happy Canada Day. On this day I hope you're all hanging out at a cottage consuming exorbitant amounts of beer and having a fun day off. It's supposed to thunderstorm here in the nation's capital which will put a wee bit of a damper (ha) on festivities down at Parliament Hill. Anyhoo, in keeping with the theme of the day, I thought I'd post some photos of red and white spaces. Enjoy - and don't drink and drive kids.

I need a holiday ....

The weather is turning cool here and my work days seem never ending. Wouldn't it be wonderful to be whisked away for a week or two doing absolutely nothing in a tropical wonderland! If casual elegance with a decidedly modern take on luxury ticks all your boxes then maybe a villa (or a residence or a suite or a loft) here at Aleenta Resort and Spa, Phuket is just what we need. Perhaps a Thai cooking class this afternoon before a nap and then drinks. Dreamy .... or is that dreaming?
