Studio Gild is a Chicago-based interior design firm co-founded by Melissa Benham, Jennie Bishop and Kristen Ekeland - a trio of women who are insanely talented. I pulled a random assortment of spaces from their portfolio and they all have a few things in common. They are sophisticated, unique, and dramatic. And I love it all!
I am unequivocally, unquestionably, undeniably in love with this home. An absolute dream in shades of gold and black, it is located in Madrid and owned by model Laura Ponte. It was featured in Architectural Digest Spain back in 2009 and is apparently now for sale. If I had the zillion dollars she's asking for it, I would throw in another zillion and demand she leave all the furnishings...or at the very least those chandeliers in the dining room. SWOON!!!
Beige, white, gold, tan, brass, brown, sand....all of these colours together make for such a warm, sophisticated and polished space. With the assemblage of gorgeous furnishings by the oh-so-talented Brian Paquette, this condo is a beauty.

This bedroom with gold/brass accents is feminine, elegant and stunning. I am in love with the light fixture and how it really makes the room come to life. And OMG check out the bed frame with the loose fabric to give it an unfussy look - GORG!!!!
