A home in Saint-Germain

A little dose of France gorgeousness, also from Marianne Tiegen. Gawd she ROCKS! (And in case you forgot, there was this Ibiza pad and this to-die-for apartment in Paris that Jo featured last summer)

Voluptuous

Voluptuous. It's the only word I can think of to describe this room. The punctuation of the rug, the curve of blue velvet disguised as a sofa, the mid century chairs and brutalist sconces all toy with the 19th century bones of the room, the ceiling, the gilded plaster, the wrought iron. And to top it all off a ridiculously large and "casually" arranged vase of elephant ears in a vase. Appartement Rue Jean Goujon, Paris by Karl Fournier and Olivier Marty, the design duo behind the architectural firm Studio KO.

Peterhof

I wanted to share another project by Hauvette & Madani that I am totally in love with. I am not really a fan of the colour turquoise but OMG it works really well in this apartment. With lots of black and white to keep it grounded and modern, having the same colour scheme run throughout a small space really helps make it seem larger and keeps a nice flow going. And WHOA - check out the dining room ceiling light fixture. How divine!

Hauvette & Madani
