New York based interior decorator, stylist and small space guru Natasha Habermann adds flair, whimsy and lotsa chic to her projects with some fun colours, unique vintage furniture and lots of plants and flowers. I adore all of these spaces from her portfolio.
A renovated Art Deco apartment in Darling Point, Sydney, home to Kate Nixon of Busatti Australia and her family, is full of charm and character as well as the beautiful Italian fabrics that Nixon imports. A neutral palette allows for accents of pattern and colour to take the limelight while delightful vignettes provide the eye candy.
A classic worker's cottage façade with a contemporary extension behind. Another great example of how Australians like to live - a desirable inner city suburb close to all the action, a small but charming historical property, a local council that values the preservation of the streetscape and that overwhelming Aussie desire for open plan living with seamless integration of inside and out. You know what I say. If you have to drag yourself into work on a weekend then it better be somewhere stylish ... and if jewellery is involved then that's a bonus. The Sabika offices are creative, colourful and fun just like their product. Design by ACRE Creative.
Yes ANOTHER kitchen I love and yes it's from my favourite kitchen designers DeVOL. As their motto states - simple furniture, beautifully made. Love the artisan feel of their Sebastian Cox range. (Plus how about that touch of unexpected colour?)
