Altius Architecture

Altius is a Toronto-based firm that specializes in residential design. I love featuring Canadian folks on the blog, and when I found this firm mentionned in a magazine spread from a few years back, I was pleased as punch to find a post-worthy portfolio on their website. It's modern, clean and warm with lots of wood and huge expanses of windows used throughout. Incredible attention to detail.

Virginia MacDonald

Virginia MacDonald is a Canadian photographer whose work is all too familiar to me, as she's worked for several magazines that I subscribe to, such as Style at Home, Canadian House and Home and Canadian Home and Country. Her portfolio is full of bright, fresh spaces. And the kicker - her portfolio includes a selection of adorable animal photos that had me grinning from ear to ear.

Alda Pereira

Alda Pereira is based in Vancouver and she is an unbelievably talented interior designer. I adore her style - refined modern with bold hits of colour, graphic artwork, and to-die-for furnishings. It's young and hip and simply fabulous. And I love it. LOVE IT.

Ami McKay

Ami McKay is a Canadian designer from Vancouver with impeccable taste. She is the designer on Makeover Wish, an HGTV series that rewards local British Columbia heroes with a $25,000 home makeover (not sure if it's still on the air). Fun and fresh style creates spaces that are energetic and inviting. And she's not afraid to use wallpaper!

Some gorgeous interiors from French Canadian magazine Décormag. I'm loving the first 2 photos...such amazing classic furnishings in such bold colours (I covet that sofa/chesterfield).
