Altius Architecture

Altius is a Toronto-based firm that specializes in residential design. I love featuring Canadian folks on the blog, and when I found this firm mentionned in a magazine spread from a few years back, I was pleased as punch to find a post-worthy portfolio on their website. It's modern, clean and warm with lots of wood and huge expanses of windows used throughout. Incredible attention to detail.

Great portfolio. Love their modern take on materials and those stair treads are beautiful. I think it's the way they bring light into the rooms that impresses me the most..

And I second the thanks for all the nice comments coming in about the blog on many of the posts we've been putting up lately. Kim and I are still having fun finding all these wonderful designers, stylists and photographers for you :)
