Toronto interior designer Ali Budd is cranking out sassy and classy spaces that must completely win over the homeowners, because I sure am smitten! Soft, neutral colour palettes, timeless furnishings and some bold wallpaper and art to add some spice. Side note: I am dying over the chandelier in the first two photos.

Cuisines Steam

I have been having heart palpitations since coming across the website of kitchen company Cuisines Steam from nearby Montréal. Foodies and design enthusiasts Brigitte Boulanger and Jean Côté joined forces and passions to create these absolutely stunning modern kitchens with streamlined cabinetry in black, white and wood. Epically staged and photographed to boot! Their site is one I am bookmarking and hopefully one day can call them up when I tire of my current kitchen (and can hopefully make it larger).

A Muskoka cottage

The perfect getaway in the Muskokas for summer or winter, by Toronto-based interior design firm Timothy Johnson Design. A lighthearted approach was taken when renovating and decorating this quaint cottage on the water's edge. A complete overhaul of the kitchen and bath allowed for the addition of modern amenities. The rustic living areas were enhanced with plush, custom furnishings and vintage pieces to create a warm, laid-back setting.

Kelly Deck update

It has been quite some time since we featured the designs of Canadian design talent Kelly Deck (the last post). She continues to dazzle with classy, sometimes modern spaces with drama added in small doses with dark colours, artwork or funky lighting. The photo above (and below) blew me away. So simple yet high impact. Gorgeous.
