The perfect getaway in the Muskokas for summer or winter, by Toronto-based interior design firm Timothy Johnson Design. A lighthearted approach was taken when renovating and decorating this quaint cottage on the water's edge. A complete overhaul of the kitchen and bath allowed for the addition of modern amenities. The rustic living areas were enhanced with plush, custom furnishings and vintage pieces to create a warm, laid-back setting.

What a wonderful renovation, nicely done and kept to the cottage style. I especially like the strip of black subway tiles and contrasting wood around the windows!
