Emily Gilbert

It's easy to see that New York interiors and architectural photographer Emily Gilbert started her career as an artist, even moving on to be a set dresser for TV and film. She loves a room. She loves the contents. She understands what makes a room tick. She composes, she almost caresses, she snaps. It's gorgeous. You can follow how she approaches her commissions on her blog and drink in even more fab photos over there.

Brilliant feature from new fav site Vårtnya Hem. Tick. Packing bags. Tick. Invading unknown Aussie expat's home. Tick tick.

Katarina Malmström Brown

Swedish-born Katarina Malmström Brown is a phenomenal photographer who has worked for just about every decent European magazine out there - Allt i Hemmet, Bo Bedre, every Elle there is, Hus & Hem, Residence, Sköna Hem (she currently operates out of London, Stockholm and Los Angeles), and it's clear why she's so popular. Her photos are vibrant and eye-catching, and the spaces themselves are spectacular. I'm taking notes, on both the decor and the photography.
