More from Heide Hendricks
Yesterday I had featured a couple of homes that had been decked out by Connecticut interior designer Heide Hendricks (here and here). Today I thought I would share a bit more of her designs because I am pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoy her traditional spaces. Must be because she gives them a bit of an edge with coloured trim, vintage light fixtures and mid-century chairs. The result is eclectic and unexpected and spaces I would absolutely enjoy hanging out in.

Painting the woodwork - so simple and stylish. The kitchen was a little too much woodwork, but I'd probably go wild for it with a cooler color. like the pale bedroom - that one would be heaven to sleep in. But my favorite is the urban kitchen with the best view of any window seat ever. The little period touches - wooden knobs, handfuls of flowers stuffed in vases, big veggies on display - are really adorable.
Absolutely inspiring. I will so much change for darker trims. Love the cohesiveness.
I love the book alcove and the stairway art. Books and art- what more do you need?
Loved the olive green wall and yellow kitchen
Lots of love, xx
