OH YESSSSSS!!!! This Australian house pushes all the right buttons, and is the ultimate dose of eye candy on a Sunday. It belongs to Simone Haag (design and communications manager at architecture firm Hecker Guthrie) and her husband Rhys. Hecker Guthrie helped them transform this 1960's rundown 3 bedroom cottage into a home that is simply stunning. Neutral shades including lots of creamy walls and ceilings (I think I prefer this to stark white) and furniture with a midcentury Scandinavian vibe make this a home that whispers 'serenity now'. So well put together - the muted tones, the lighting, the scandi vibe. Ughh I love it!
I'm more than a little in love with the floors and the oven!!! Also the layout and the light and the beams and the ambience.
Not so keen on the handbasin though - reminds me a bit of a urinal.

P.S. I completely disagree with Lynne on the "urinal" sinks - those are favs of mine and I've been dying to come across one on my antiquing hunts.
This does look extremely scandinavian, very swedish - and as a swede, I should know haha. Perfect inspiration for our summer cottage redo I am about to embark upon this summer. Just lovely!
Amazing home, furniture, dining room, sideboards, beautiful. So crisp.
I would only prefer to have some space nect to the stove to put the things beside, after cooking.
