Monday's pets on furniture
If you'd like to send me photos to include in next week's "pets on furniture" post, please ensure your photos follow my basic rules: First, the pet must be on a piece of furniture. And said piece of furniture must be clearly visible in the photo, so it takes center stage rather than your pet. Think of it more of a photo of a great piece of furniture that you want to show off...and your pet happens to be sitting on it. And second, if the photo is too dark or unfocused then it may not make the cut. Photos, your name, location and a brief description can be sent to desiretoinspirekim[at]hotmail[dot]com and PLEASE don't send closeups of your pet! Thanks!
This is Joffrey, a former stray, who is acclimating very nicely to the life indoors! He loves this banquette almost as much as we love him!

Cooper, the senior cat, enjoying a lazy afternoon on her favourite chair at her home in Arnprior Ontario, Canada.

This is Ozzie he is always looking for a cozy spot for a nap. The scarf drawer seemed like as good a spot as any...

My 8 year old pug Pearl resting on ottoman while I study.

Here are our two nearly matching kitties, Zora and Fisher, resting (after a busy day of resting) on two of our dining chairs.

These caption excerpts I love: "former stray," "senior cat," "cozy spot for a nap," "8-year old Pug," and "after a busy day of resting" ... because they are written by people who rescue homeless cats, care for older pets, let cats sleep in drawers and pass no judgment on cats who need their sleep after napping all day.
Monday's Pets on Furniture always starts my week off right. It's my little touchstone to people with good hearts for animals.
Joffrey! He looks like he's eartipped? Those sleepy kitties are really adorable. (And I'm jealous.)
Stacey, that is one truly snazzy starburst chair! And nice cat!
Cute cat in drawer
Orcas Island twin cats--wow--lucky cats. Lucky to be living on Orcas Island.
Pearl looks worried--but I'm sure she lives a more than perfect life. But, all pugs look worried, don't they?
And Joffrey, that's a pretty high-faluting name but it looks like he is already born to the manor and has no more worries. Nice for you to take him in.
Love Monday Pets on Furniture. You all rock.
