Antiq-BR
I'm at a loss for words today. One of my cats (admittedly my favourite) has been VERY sick the last couple of days and passed away a few hours ago. It's times like this when blogging about interior design just seems so...trivial. I'd like to do a tribute to him on Monday's pet post, and you'll see why this has affected me so deeply. I leave you with the home and showroom for a Madrid-based antiques shop called Antiq-BR, where they carry French, Italian and Swedish treasures from the 18th & 19th centuries. Via Nuevo Estilo.

So sorry about your sweet baby. RIP.
Thanks everyone.
As a long time animal lover who has lost many a furry family member (both due to old age and sudden circumstances) I understand and am saddened for you. I can only hope that you find comfort in your other cats at this time, my oldest pets (a cat and dog that grew up together) are always my little comforters during rough times. :(
My deepest condolences to you, Kim. Big internet hugs coming your way.
I know that saying sorry is not enough... I found out just this Friday that one of my cats is sick. Even at the thought of her dying I'm crying. At least we have time to treat her. Take care Kim.
so very sorry kim
i'll never forget the day when it happened to me!
i wish you all the best from Germany!!!
So sorry for the loss of your special friend. Love from Spain.
I've been reading your blog quite regularly for a long time but have never commented till today. I'm really sorry for your loss, as a pet owner myself I dread that day. But your blog topic is not at all trivial, it brings me some comfort when I cannot sleep or just feel down. Just wanted to say please continue blogging, it does more good than you may think!
Your blog and your perspective does so much good, so thank you for being so passionate and selfless. Love to you and all in your household.
I am so sorry for your loss. My sister's cat died last year and it was a horrible time for the whole family. I don't think anyone who doesn't have pets themselves can understand how attached you get to them, they are nothing less than family members. So sorry.
Oh, Kim, I'm so sorry. You and your loved ones are in my thoughts --
I'm so sorry for your loss. I subscribe to over 150 blogs, and yours is one of the very few I always, always open and look at. I appreciate your blog a lot, even if I don't comment very often. I love the Pets on Furniture feature, (even though for the first time in my life I have none), and I look forward to your tribute.
Aren't people amazing sometimes with their thoughts and words. I shall add my heartfelt sorrow to your unexpected life change. Be thankful for the most wonderful time you had together. I hope that helps. Memories are so precious. I am so sorry Kim.
Sorry for your loss. Pets are precious and it's hard when they leave us.
Oh I am sooooo sorry to hear about your angel leaving the earth. sending u big hugs.
We lost our kitty this week too. (((HUGS)))
Soooo sorry to hear, it's a deep heart-ache
My thoughts are with you through this tough time. I have watched as you share your life and open your heart to cats. Your love has made a wonderful life for those who share your home, have been fortunate enough to have been rehomed by you, and those wild souls who have been blessed to have had you help them along their way.. For the kindness you show to animals, and the dedication you have to Jo and all of the readers on your blog, I can only extend my thanks and my heartfelt condolences, but believe that these sentiments are shared by countless others Kim.
