Yes please Joséphine!
Rustic barn meets exuberance and style. Quirky meets practicality. Concrete and chandeliers, modern art and aged oak beams. A barn conversion in Burgundy by Joséphine Gintzburger is pastoral perfection. It's rough luxe and bucolic drama and all the modern comforts. A weekend retreat to be shared with family and friends.

Holy crap, I want one. Just without a Hand-Chair and this creepy mermaid sculpture. Still, amazing!
Oh my Godness!!! In love with that wooden table!
I'm not sure I think the chandeliers work (and normally I am a fan). But the space itself is stunning.
There's a similar sofa for sale on Craigslist in Toronto right now!

GORGEOUS!!!
I absolutly love it! :D
Only think is that I would want some kind of railings..
If you trip you can really hurt yourself.
Yes yes yes - this home is awesome! The reading nook loft is totally mine!
With four small children, I could never do this, but totally cool!
Railings. Other than that - magnificient. If it was 'styled', it certainly doesn't read that way - very personal. Brilliant kitchen storage, there is no living space that doesn't invite you to lounge, no bedroom that doesn't promise rest. Last picture just seals the whole thing into fantasy.
I don't usually do concrete, but you had me at that kitchen - I love the way that it owns its space - right in the middle of the floor, not tucked to one side; and clearly designed for four or five people to cook around at once... Quite something !
You know how young girls cry when they're at a Bieber concert? Now I know how it feels. This house is so gorgeous, so dreamy, it makes me want to cry. Loooove!
Nice house, wonderful space full of nauseating rummage.
Wow, amazing layout and light. Love the hand sculpture and mattress painting! Wonder where I can buy them... Also love the contrast between the wooden beams and the stark white walls. I'd love to live here.
SO beautiful!
After a quick flick through the most memorable items are; the photograph of swing chairs amongst the treeline which is wonderful, the mermaid and the golden pipe with face atop. Beautiful things that hint at interesting occupants.
I remember hearing as a child, "Shut the door, were you born in a barn"? The answer was NO but I sure wish I could have
lived in one like this! Of course then, no one would have thought of remaking one to live .... This is just beautiful! You are
very lucky and talented to have created this wonderful place!
The walls are all white.. to much white
I'm seriously in love and inspired. That is the perfect house I've ever seen. Amazing!
I love it! This is so inspiring and a brilliant example of how much fun you can have with a barn conversion.
i love conversions , and barns but dislike the way this has been done.. :(
i hate it. all that waney edge timber. unclean and a dust trap. also lazy, not getting back to sound timber. yuch!
Wow... that is really cool. I gave my son his own blog about 'beds, books and toys' (his idea) and I think he'll love the loft ideas in this post. I'll show it to him as soon as he gets home from school today.
There's just two things that confused me. Where are the kitchen cabinets in the kitchen? And why does there appear to be a bed 6 inches from a bath tub?
this is dream house after 4 month m gonna marry so need this home for honey moon :D
Absolutely breathtaking house! I love the rustic vibe along with all the wonderful and fun home accessories like that exquisite glass chandelier! I would live here in a heartbeat!
