Yes please Joséphine!

Rustic barn meets exuberance and style. Quirky meets practicality. Concrete and chandeliers, modern art and aged oak beams. A barn conversion in Burgundy by Joséphine Gintzburger is pastoral perfection. It's rough luxe and bucolic drama and all the modern comforts. A weekend retreat to be shared with family and friends.

Love this, so cool and quirky, especially love the beams and the bath tucked away in the corner of the bedroom, so nice. Looks like a lovely place to live, beautiful :-)
Oh yeh you need to get hand rails, it's a must.

This design is so fabulous. You have the exact design vibe as I do. White background... great colors in art & accents, (No RYB)... Mix of "subtle designs,"...art, thoughtful and artfully "play on words" DESIGN!! LOVE THIS!!!!!

I've actually been in this place. It's like a lodge or cabin style place. It is not nearly as big as the pictures make it appear. Total living space, upstairs and down, is only about 3/4 the typical suburban 'cookie cutter' type home you might see in North America, the UK or Australia. The conversion of this barn into a 'weekend getaway' was fairly well done, it has a lot of charm, but don't be fooled by the camera work, it is deceiving to be sure. Although shown with enough beds you'd think it would sleep a dozen, that would be extremely cramped quarters, you could squeeze 6 in there, and you'd have to be really, really close friends. The dining table is shown with 9 chairs, I'm telling you those are small chairs. In reality it's more suited to 4 people, or 5 could eat at it if the one on the end was a small child in a high chair. And then there's the surrounding area, let's just say it's not exactly a hot vacation spot. It's more of an area you would go if you were depressed and considering suicide as your next step. And if you weren't before you got there, you probably would by the time you left.

Amazing..Its really beautiful...

There is a house/guest home that I saw in Tuscany that is very similar to this one! It's called Siena House, it's adorable!

I'm absolutely loving the play between the minimal architecture which creates a open airy feeling. Also what really pulls everything together is all the details within furniture, decorative accessories etc it really gives that whole quirky vibe that is mentioned, love this space!!!

Very special and natural. Just one complaint it has to be immaculately tidy to look good.

This house is beautiful, but really? who thought of that death trap? the designer didn't clean by him o herself clearly.

Horrid. I realize I'm no professional designer, but this is the most God-awful collection of mish-mash I've ever seen. Awful, just awful.

Oh Wow! Absolutely stunning, lovely, clean, welcoming, inviting, stylish, laid-back, warm and cool at the same time, fantastic, wonderful, etc......Just can't say enough about it. Great job! I'll take it just like it is!

Does anyone know where the large format photo above the green bench with carnival ride and trees is from?
Was this house featured somewhere else that might have more editorial details?
thanks

I like it, except for that bath tub right next to the bed with the floral and white sheets. how do you not get the floor or the bed with that?
