New from Domus Nova (#1)
I got my hands on some new properties from the lovely folks over at West London estate agents Domus Nova. They always have really cool or really wacky homes on their roster. The 3 today would qualify as being somewhat wacky. Or at least out of the ordinary. Here is the first one, located in the heart of Notting Hill. It's 3 bedrooms, oddly shaped, 3-storey, 2040 sq ft and formerly the home of singer Robbie Williams. These owners sure have eclectic taste. I'm not sure how many people have the balls to buy a monstrous eggplant coloured sectional - and then outfit it with orange and yellow pillows.

A bit wacky for sureānot one, but TWO, purple sectionals! I do love me those blue dining chairs though. :-0
I love the purple sectionals. Really big furniture is not going to fade into the background - why not use a beautiful color you love?
all purple and orange wackiness aside...the two yellow chairs with the table between...it feels like a waiting room. bet it was much cooler before the stylists came in and cleaned it up. is this a loft conversion from an old mill? maybe the painting behind the yellow chairs is the original building?
LOVE those yellow chairs, but they belong somewhere else...maybe my place.
They really did need to take the banana color over into the eggplant/blue zone to tie everything together a bit, but I like the chairs. And the dangling lights. But more than anything, I love the straight forward mid-century modern dining room. You know it comes with parcheezi and a checkers board. The kitchen is a bit lumpish. Wouldn't it be great if there were magic markers for that shiny artwork by the pool table? It looks like a draw & wipe board.
Is the zebra head mounted on a wall part of a dead animal? And the hide under the pool table from the same or another once-living creature? Appears so. If I'm right, I'm thoroughly disgusted.
