Funky in Notting Hill
London estate agency Domus Nova sent over photos from another one of their fabulous properties (see previous posts here and here). This one is a funky 2 bedroom garden maisonette, with open concept living space, long and narrow layout at about 1183 sq ft. HELLO white Panton chairs (my fav!), Flos Taraxacum 88 pendant lights, lavender sectional, rad artwork...

i'm sorry, did you say "rad" artwork? Hello 1980's!
Those little plants on the outside stairs are fun. Light and quirky pad!
Funky and quirky!! Love the white pantons..that's what I got around my dining table too!!! Have a lovely day..xx meenal
I could live here and not change a thing! I love the art, love the red backsplash in the kitchen. Love the pink panel outside the bedroom....
The last image has great composition. An all around fun space.
such a fun space!! i love the random (and strange) objects all over the place. and the bursts of colour!
- agata.
LLOOOOVVVVEE the bedroom!! That bed is like a puffy cloud!
um, you mean lavendEr, not lavendAr. also, that dining room table is something awful. the rest, however, gets my enthusiastic thumbs up.
OOPS - thanks anon! (i was in a rush last night and didn't bother spell checking)
I love Domus Nova and am lucky to have the opportunity to work with them occasionally. I am not cazy about this particular property. There are a few pieces I adore but overall not my cupatea. I couldn't live ther. How interesting our different perceptions are :-)
Back for a second look. I love what seem to be acrylic panels (?) everywhere. Love the way they cast the light. Kim, do you have any pics from your inspiration folder of homes with acrylic panels?
Peggy - can you send me that in an email so I can add it to my reader requests? Otherwise I am guaranteed to forget.
(P.S. Stay tuned for a reader request post tomorrow...something to do with wood...)
I usually go in for dark and sexy but this is getting me. The freshness is so appealing. And I totally want that Mickey Mouse painting and LAVENDER SECTIONAL!
I love your blog, congratulations!! You always have incredible pictures that inspire me a lot. Thank you!
ugly pugly! is what i have to say about this particular home eclectic can be wonderful but you need to know what you are doing in order to avoid such catastrophes as this one.
where can I get the panda figure?
