Björn Wallander

Swedish born photographer Björn Wallander now lives in NYC with his dog Ella and has made quite a name for himself, having shot for several mags you all know and love(d) including Domino, Oprah, Dwell, Martha Stewart and Real Simple. I am completely and utterly smitten with his portfolio, which is full of photographs of spaces whose lightness and darkness and shadows are captured so perfectly....

He really knows how to show the best of a space.

Like it when large pieces of art are used in spaces - the Faye Dunaway photo is a nice touch.

I like how the shots often catch more than one room.

I really like how he uses the light to make the pics warm. These spaces look all very cozy and intimate; it's no wonders he's so successful! :D

Ciao

I love the interiors..but I must say that THAT is a magnificent view of the city at night! I'd give anything to have a view like that. :)
