Monday's pets on furniture
If you'd like to send us photos to include in next week's "pets on furniture" post, please ensure your photos follow our basic rules: First, the pet must be on a piece of furniture. And said piece of furniture must be clearly visible in the photo, so it takes center stage rather than your pet. Think of it more of a photo of a great piece of furniture that you want to show off...and your pet happens to be sitting on it. And second, the photo must be of decent quality. If it's dark or fuzzy (from a camera phone) then it may not make the cut. Thanks! (Photos, your name, location and a brief description can be sent to desiretoinspirekim@hotmail.com and PLEASE don't send closeups of your pet!)
This is lovely, little Doris, who arrived at my house today. She is absolutely beautiful, woolen like a sheep. Very playful and cuddly.

Zac
German Shorthaired Pointer cross?
Rescued at 3months old in 2005 after being dumped in a park with his 3 sisters.
Loved and Adored by Nick & Dave of Sydney Australia.

This is my Addy enjoying our new couch :) I didn't realize how much she would love the couch, but apparently it now belongs to her.....not me!
- Dani (Sunset Beach, CA)
This comforter I just finished – Indonesian Batiks called the ‘Circle in the Square’. The dog is my toy poodle – who actually owns the bed.
- Shannon (Denver, Colorado)
This is Yorkie who is half Fox Terrier/half Jack Russell. He is having a regal moment!
- Dinah (Auckland, New Zealand)
This is my dog Buddy with his toy dog on the couch on board our boat.
- Liz (Dublin, Ireland)
Last year somewhere in August I was going through your pets on furniture pictures and that same day I went to a shelter and came home with Droopy a few hours later :-)

Here is a picture of my dog Pinky enjoying our living room in San Diego, CA!

aw, ranger...you big baby.
Yey, she made the cut! Petmodel next :D
Doris=beauty!!
That Ranger is a doll!
Love this feature. All the critters are so cute, and it's so inspiring to see how much people love their pets, even the ones that are no longer with us (so sorry about Zac).
Oh MY Pinky made the cut!
I love these posts and today you have a special one with Buddy, the dog of a friend :)
So cute, especially Pinky! Nice furniture too!
Looks like Ranger needs a bigger chair/bed. So cute!
Love it!!!!!!!!
Doris is such a gorgeous little one. And Addy's smile made my day. :)
Oh sweet Zac. I can see that big, beautiful boy had a big, beautiful heart.
Buddy loves his toy. Yay!
Addy really does love that couch. What a sweetie.
Ranger's a sweet sleepy boy...too cute.
Just because I didn't mention all of you by name doesn't mean I don't love ya. I LOVE EM ALL!
Kim, Beth & D thank you for your kind words.
Zac had the most beautiful soul. We miss him dearly.
A Gentle giant, he would roll on his back to befriend even the smallest Chihuahua. Ignoring the snarls and snaps he just wanted to be friends with everyone!
I wish our furniture would survive cats as well as some of those couches...any tips on stopping cats from shredding furniture??
I look forward to these each and every week. What a great selection this week. And Shannon, that batik comforter is gorgeous.
Zorro and Tigra :)
Thank you for making them famous :) Both of them were rescued from the street. Zorro was year and a half, and Tigra was still a baby.
Every day is special with them ... We cannot imagine our lives without those little, funny, cute creatures. ...
All pets in this selection are really gorgeous ...
Zorro is saying 'hi' to Doris :)
awwwww. love Zac's photos the best {sorry, but he stole my heart in that last one}
wooly cat might be a maine coon. if so congrats (pure white is rare and the breed has unique character! check her paws for fur between pads or ears for little hair points at tips ;)
Addy is ad(dy)orable!!!
Re: RANGER
Now we know where reindeer sleep!
This is such a clever idea. I don't know who will have the most fun us or our pets.
Thanks
Kathy
Doris has a tiny, tiny spot of darker hair on the back top of her head. Can hardly see it. I used to have a cat, named Felix, who was half Mainecoon and half Norsk Skogskatt . He had looooads of hair between his toes, and a little extra hair on the tip of his ears. I dunno yet if Doris will have that, but she doesn't have the typical face of a Mainecoon. But even if she is a breed cat, doesn't matter ;) She's just here for cuddling, along with my two other cats....and my BullTerrier ;)
Doris says; "Hi right back at'ya, Zorro!" :)
Awww, Droopy is so cuute in this beautiful decor! My favorite!!!!
