Mid century wonderful

I fell off a ladder today and sprained my wrist hence this is a post I had ready to go for next week. One fingered typing is no fun but I know you'll forgive me when you see this gorgeous house. My love to Pia whose Brisbane book launch I am missing as I type.

Is this what mid century heaven looks like? Oh my what a beautiful thing ... stone, glass, wood and steel in La Cañada in the Sierra Madre foothills. But this vintage classic is brand new with interiors cleverly fashioned by Jamie Bush. It's fresh and vibrant and Mad Man modern. Too cool. So hot!

Very Nice!
Love the "Blackman-Cruz" bronze skull light on the root desk.
I used to sell antiques to Blackman Cruz, one of my favorite stores in Los Angeles!
Check them out here: http://www.blackmancruz.com/inventory, I'm sure you will find stuff you will love :)
Hope your wrist feels better soon, falling off a ladder sounds pretty scary :(

What a gorgeous house....those floor to ceiling windows are heavenly!

God those windows are stunning! I love the rectangles everywhere, especially how that is contrasted with the curvy chairs. Nice.

It reminds me of the house in "A Single Man". Where's Colin Firth?
