Nathan and Brandi's bedroom makeover
Fri, 6 May 2011Nathan, a photographer in Edmonton Alberta, wanted to share the bedroom makeover that him and his wife Brandi executed - to perfection! It's my favourite colour scheme - and he even included a gratuitous cat-on-the-bed photo. :-)
It's been months in the making. We’ve been working away, slowly but surely, trying to refinishing our bedroom. Unfortunately I don’t have any 'before' pictures, but it definitely didn’t look like this! Picture beige walls, no curtains and black bedding. Horrible.
I refinished these small tables myself a couple months back. They were espresso brown with boring knobs, so I painted them a warm white, antiqued them a bit and found some great new hardware. Simple, cheap, effective :)

I have the same yellow pillows. The seller on etsy is MARIESCOSYCUSHIONS. They are listed as "saffron" rather than yellow. Hope that helps.
Exactly what I have been looking for in my own home. Where did you find the bedding? Grey that is not boring is SO hard to find!

Leanne, 2 comments above yours is the Etsy seller for the yellow pillows and in a couple other comments you'll find that the white pillows are from eBay.

I loved the yellow pillow covers and bought them, but have since chosen a different color theme for my room. If you are interested in buying them from me, let me know.
I was just wondering where the white striped sheets were from? Also, the yellow (or what appears to be yellow) blanket that is the layering blanket between the white sheets and gray comforter?
What color did you use on the walls?
In a few comments above the paint colour is mentioned = Zephyr (Cloverdale Paint) in an eggshell finish, as well as the bedding = West Elm
The white pillows can be found on easy seller:modest pillows $22.00 each.
The only question I have is where was the white mirror from?? Is that IKEA as well? And the additional decorations like the candle holders etc.? Thank you!
