Nathan and Brandi's bedroom makeover
Fri, 6 May 2011Nathan, a photographer in Edmonton Alberta, wanted to share the bedroom makeover that him and his wife Brandi executed - to perfection! It's my favourite colour scheme - and he even included a gratuitous cat-on-the-bed photo. :-)
It's been months in the making. We’ve been working away, slowly but surely, trying to refinishing our bedroom. Unfortunately I don’t have any 'before' pictures, but it definitely didn’t look like this! Picture beige walls, no curtains and black bedding. Horrible.
I refinished these small tables myself a couple months back. They were espresso brown with boring knobs, so I painted them a warm white, antiqued them a bit and found some great new hardware. Simple, cheap, effective :)

Target has very similar yellow pillows!
Love the room! We have grey/white West Elm bedding too (different than this though) & we love it. Tons of white/black pillows we just plop in a chair for the night. Not too much of an inconvenience though some days I'm lazy!
Love this room... went out and bought the same bedding! For those looking for yellow/gray silk floral pillows, I found ones that were very similar to those pictured at my local Target.
May I ask where you got all the bedding? It's exactly the style I've been looking for! I love the room!

Beautiful Bedroom! Love the colors, pictures, lamp and chandelier! And...love all the pillows! I, too just take our off at night and put them back on in the morning. I did see white pillows that were very similar to these at The Great Indoors or maybe Sears since they have the same owner, I believe.

Ashley, in the comments Nathan has already specified that the paint is Zephyr (Cloverdale Paint) in an eggshell finish.
Do you know where the yellow pillows came from on Etsy? I cannot find them anywhere and would LOVE to have them! Do you have the vendors name? Also, where are the curtains from?
