The potter's place
Cassiano Anjo was a journalist until the turn of a potter's wheel changed his life. "What can I say about myself as a potter? I have so much fun doing it, and started intuitively a few years ago, after attending a ceramic workshop with a ceramicist that does beautiful work with paperclay. I guess I cannot tell how exactly my work is going to evolve, it's kind of early, but I would visualize clean, organic forms, mostly in porcelain." Beauty in the pots, beauty in the studio. What a wonderful space to create. Earthy, peaceful, rich yet simple, layers of texture but always the smooth beauty of the clay. Cassiano's studio is in Uberaba, Brazil.

The tessellated tiles in the bathroom are so lovely, as is the work, the house and the garden. Not much there that is not to love!
The work by Cassiano Anjo is lovely and so is the home. The earthiness of both is very appealing. I have wanted to explore making pottery, this gives me a nudge.
Very beautiful, and I appreciate the warm earth tones for a change. Those cement tiles are fantastic. And the little outdoor spaces look so inviting. The whole scale and style is simple and thoughtful. The pottery is great too.
Oh my I am so jealous. What a wonderful set up for a studio. So simple yet stylish. The pots are gorgeous too.
What a beautiful and inspiring place to create. A pleasing combination of colors in a whole, proportion is everywhere. Love the potteries as well.
