The white house
It's been a long time since we've featured the work of interior designer Sera Hersham-Loftus (way back here and here). Sera's designs are unlike those of any other designer I have ever come across. She is the queen of the boudoir look - seductive, glam, romantic and best of all, completely over-the-top. The following is a home in her portfolio she has dubbed The White House and I fell in love with it. It's a bit more subdued than her typical designs and far more realistic and achievable. (Tomorrow, more spaces by Sera...but darker and brighter)

It is absolutely beautiful to look at, but I am not enticed to sit anywhere.
Gorgeous! I never get tired looking at white rooms like this one. It's so nice, fresh and serene.
Me no like it :-(
I love all white but this is a little too frou frou for my liking. Not welcoming or warm at all. Reminds me of those epoustouflant interiors at the peak of the 80's more is more era - It's most definitely a thumbs down from me.
I can picture a fabulous family of jointed dolls living in these rooms. Except the mint one. Never the mint one. I think the TV solution kind of sums up the whole thing for me; lots and lots and LOTS of money, spent on lots of glamorous things in tasteful relationships - but in the end, you know its just tacky. I like OTT and romantically boudoirish - but it has to be built around solid pieces. This has the factory-direct-to-you tag.
Lah de dah. Too, too much.
it's like living in a cupcake. cute, but definitely not pour moi. and the tv thing is uggg-lee!
No, too frou frou, but nicely photographed.
Really beautiful looking and full of light.
Holy cow! If this is subdued then I look forward to the rest of her work. Much of what I see is very beautiful, and certainly not run of the mill or predictable. Hallmarks of good design. But, similar to the comments above, for me this room evokes those things that are pretty in the store but you don`t know how you would make it work at your house......
stunningly beautiful, light, elegant, awesome house!
Butterflies invaded my shabby chic mansion and I don't know what to do!
polish chic said it perfectly!

I take out the "cute" part it's not cute it has way too much frosting!
too many frigging pillows
I cannot get over how heavenly....
Quite lovely. Clark Gable wouldn't hate it.
Fabulous. I could move right in. Love all the white and that metal staircase is 2die4 as well as the sunroom. Nice mirrors and overdoors, too.
The designs are absolutely breathtaking. Thanks for sharing!
I like your design, but I hate white color so much... red is what I need.
