WINKS

a well stocked second-hand shop

WINKS - weekend links. Here we list what has come in during the week, things we've found and things we think you'll want to see. If you'd like to see your blog or website featured email us and if we think it fits with our readers we'll link you. So what's in this week?

  • Fashion takes on furniture and it's a win/win. Diesel for Moroso have designed a collection that is relaxed and comfortable as your favourite pair of jeans. Modern, simple lined and fab.

  • Madeline Weinrib brings her signature textile designs to the classics of Modernist furniture. Think Gio Ponti, Vladimir Kagan and Arne Jacobsen. Exhibition at Sebastian + Barquet from September 10th through October 23rd.

  • Alberto Vieyra fuses modern design with hand craftsmanship. Check out these Origamex side chairs and coffee table. Faceted and fabulous. More here at Vieyrah Designs.

  • Build your own mid-century modern house in 15 minutes. Then have a barbecue or cocktail party to celebrate. Max Dalton is no mad man (sorry about the pun) but a clever illustrator living in Buenos Aires. Available here and here.

  • More fashion jumping the gap to interiors. Sydney-based Brianna Pike, Alecia Jensen and Anna Harves are textile designers Sixhands. Now available as fabrics, wallpapers and rugs. Vibrant, funky, young and sexy. Love the colours!!
