Country living

I just ate a whole bunch of lobster Jeff and I picked up at the airport that his parents had flown in from Prince Edward Island for my parents (30 lbs worth), so I am too full to come up with much to say as an intro to the following lovely photos of a completely renovated and modernized country home photographed by Stuart McIntyre and styled by the crazy-talented Katrine Martensen-Larsen. This place ain't too country now! It's eclectic and I'm loving all the white walls.

Oh wow! What paint or stain is used on the floors to get them that lovely shade of grey with the woodgrain still showing through? It's beautiful!

Tee, I'm pretty sure that's a Smeg refrigerator - and it does come in red!

Hi All,
Thanks for your nice words. The childrens beds are called Juno-senge (Juno-beds) and was made in Denmark from 1942 - 1980. Today you can only find them second-hand. Both my kids have slept in a Juno and we loved them. I have however just come across this site: www-alt-til-baby.dk, - somebody is making them again in a new and safer version. Good luck.
Yours sincerely
Katrine

Would love to know the couch, it is exactly what I've been looking for. Any ideas?

Cheers.

Great house!
Can someone tell me where I can find that grass-like carpet? Or what the brand is?

Thanks.
