J. Savage Gibson

I just had to round out the week with another great photographer, J. Savage Gibson. Kim and I go on and on about lighting and composition and angles and colour but when you see beautiful photos it's those things that are so apparent. Josh's work is subtle. These aren't pictures that scream "look at me look at me". Instead they draw you in with their order, refinement and relevance. Don't miss his b&w portfolio .... lovely!

I love that there are dogs and cats in several of the photos. Makes the spaces seem less set-up-for-a-photo-op

the space in these photos is lovely - so airy and light. And I LOVE the treatment of the panoramic photos in the first shot - that's definitely something I'd love to use somewhere in the Inn. It's great to see historic pieces being used in modern ways that make sense.

The dining room with green wicker chairs and its clear glass windows is so gorgeous. It will be a delight to have meals there with friends and family, so airy and fresh looking. Good capture by J. Savage Gibson
