Rasterbating on a Saturday

Things are happening in my office. I have a large double sliding door cupboard that gives away the room's original purpose as a bedroom. So I rasterbated (or is that rasterized) this classic 60s b&w photo (At the Cavern Nightclub, Liverpool, 1963, by Lewis Morley) and popped it up. Popped is not the word. I had to blu-tack it because this is a rental and it took forever! The chair is my new thrifted office chair, a bargain at $10. The 70s light box coffee table I've had for a while. I'm going to upholster it in the last of my Sydney bus roll fabric. Not sure of the kilim I have on the floor at the moment. I love it to pieces even though it has badly faded on one side. I'll have to wait till the houndstooth modular suite comes back before I make up my mind. Where's my computer? Inside the cupboard. But that's a work in progress. Oh and I'm one row short in the photo so that still has to be fixed. Gotta love Saturdays when you get a decorating punch for pennies.

You are a GENIUS!! That rasterbated photo is totally perfect, and your chair is awesome, and I'm drooling over that kilim. I will be praying along with you that it works with the houndstooth. I will also pray that the landscaping of my front yard I'm doing today turns out to be that successful.

where did you get the photo from?
Thanks everyone! There is still a long way to go but at least I don't have to look at those ugly doors anymore. The photo has been in my tear sheets for ages. It's by Lewis Morley the photographer who took the infamous Christine Keeler photo where she is sitting naked behind a Series 7 chair. I think it turned out so well because of the high contrast betweeen the black and white.

This is something I've wanted to do for a long time. Love it. Did it use a ton of ink? What it still cost effective?

rasterbator cost effectivness, yes, how is it--you must find a great deal on printer ink?
Yes it did use a fair bit of ink but I had a brand new cartridge and was so keen to do it. Still cheaper than a mural poster that size or wallpaper. I have a laser printer and the finish is amazing!
Oh and the pillow is one I made from my batch of bus rolls. I used the off cuts from when I streched them. Sold them all but kept this one.
