Chambres en Ville

These dreamy rooms are what awaits you at a small bed and breakfast in Brussels. Philippe Guilmin is owner and artist. Faded once sumptuous interiors are layered with second hand pieces and flea market oddities wrapped in a subtle palette of greys, greens and ochres. A romantic room in the city.

All images from Belle, Australia.

I would kill for a bathroom like that!!! I love your post title - the pictures certainly reflect a romantic feeling!! Beautiful!

I love it so much. It is so unlike me that a romantic stay here would be amazing. I love to get away into a fantasy destination. (PS this does not include a Fred Flinstone styled love shack.)

These pictures remind me of P.E.I. and my "in-laws'" cottage there. Beautiful and serene.

Hey, the bathroom and office are featured in the book "Creating Vintage Style."

Beautiful neutrals. And I love the placement of the tub with the long console behind it, although I'm not too sure about the mirror in that spot. I don't think I'd like to watch myself get in and out of the tub. But maybe that's just me...

Marm, thanks for pointing out the book. I don't think you're alone in your thoughts on that mirror. (I agree! It would kind of ruin the moment.)
