New coffee table!

I got my hands on a new coffee table recently that I wanted to share. I adore this table and think the design is fantastic. I can never find a coffee table that does it for me, and this one certainly does. Plus, it's so damn cute it could work in any room for multiple functions. It's the Tablo table by Normann Copenhagen designed by Nicholai Wiig Hansen. The top is heavy, made of plastic composite and the legs are a gorgeous ash. I'm in love. And as much as I'd love to use it as an actual coffee table, my husband insisted we not as he prefers the couch piece/ottoman thing we built in front of the couch so he can put his feet up. And there was NO WAY I was going to let him put his feet up on this. (Find it here)

I f*cking hate lilacs!!!!

I am pretty sure I've complained about the lilac bush on the side of my front yard before but here I am bitching about it again. Why you ask? I freaking hate the goddamn jungle that erupts every spring under the stupid thing. It sprouts thousands of mini lilacs underneath and looks like ass. I do not want a jungle in my front yard so I tackle it a couple times each spring/summer to tame the beast. And each time I end up scratched, sore, and covered in blisters. It took me 1.5 hours this morning and that doesn't include bagging the mess because I was too damn tired to deal with it so left it piled on the driveway (until my hands stop cramping). When/if we build the new house, I want that damn bush GONE!
