Yesterday husband and I stopped in at Alteriors - one of my favourite local shops for all things modern. This shop makes me wish I had 3 more jobs because I always want to leave with every piece of furniture and lighting they have on the floor. Owners Jacob and Monika are super nice people and were so kind as to gift me with the following:

I am really happy they are starting to carry some smaller items because I hate leaving empty handed. I LOVE these! A wool trivet by Swedish company Aveva and a PVC watering can by French company Qui est Paul?
As per usual, I walked around the shop drooling and snapping photos. Here are some of my favourite items:

Herman Miller Eames molded walnut side chair with wire base

Ligne Roset Paranoid 2 floor lamp

OMG I love this for a dressing room or foyer. 20 Hangers by Ligne Roset.

Ligne Roset Ploum sofa. Maybe the comfiest sofa on the market right now. (Loved it since I spotted it here)

Flos Taraxacum light

Knoll Eero Saarinen womb chair + ottoman

Ligne Roset Alburni occasional tables

Flos Taccia light (another fav of mine for a long time)

And upon every visit I insist on parking my butt on their Ligne Roset TOGO sectional. And this thick velvety fabric is PERFECT for households with pets. JUST SAYIN'. ;)

One of my favourite lights in the shop. 28 desk lamp by Bocci. These colours would look incredible in my dark grey living room. Again, JUST SAYIN'.

CLASSICS. Herman Miller Eames molded plywood lounge chair and walnut stool. I have obsessed over that chair for as long as I can remember.

This is called a bench, which explains why it is really not that comfy, but is compact so perfect in a foyer or at the end of a bed. 25.1 bench by Bocci.

piles of trivets

A classic. I love my limited edition one in walnut but black is the next best Herman Miller Eames Hang It All.

LOVE this black on black combo.

Hanging above their cash/reception area are a pile of fabulous Flos Aim lights. I love my black one but a bunch of white ones look pretty hot.
