books

I felt the need to order some books on Amazon the other day. They arrived today. As usual, it included mostly decor books, including (finally!) Grace's book Design*Sponge at Home. And I know you're probably wondering why in the hell I would order Kat Von D's book. I have a mild obsession with tattoos. (I have an idea for my fifth....)

So far I have gone though 'Pale & Interesting' and 'modern vintage style' and they are both AMAZING books (now, I only look at the pictures, I don't read decor books so keep that in mind). I highly recommend both. The photos are gorgeous!!!

Hey Kim,
I missed this post last Thursday, I just read it now and nearly fell off my chair. Not a day goes by that I do not visit the Design Sponge website. I get a lot of great ideas off their site. I hope one day I become as good a designer as you are! Let me know how the book compares to the website.
Last year I got my first tattoo and have been planning my next one ever since. I want to do a side tattoo from hip to shoulder so I have to make sure it's a good one! I have ideas but not sold on anything yet. let me know how Kat's book is.
So what are you planning for #5? Any hints you can give us? all the best!

I flipped through the D*S book really quick - I think I'd recommend it already. :)
I'd love a half sleeve but I'm far too chicken for that. I really want to get a tattoo of something my nonna (grandmother in Italian) used to say: FACKINGSANAMABEECH. (If you say it out loud you should be able to guess what that is). Her English wasn't great but she loved swearing in English because it cracked us kids up. (I have "nonna" tattooed on my right wrist).
