Tears
It is a sad time in the new old house. My beloved feathered baby Puki died suddenly yesterday. My husband raced him to the vet but he was already gone. We don't know what was wrong and couldn't bring ourselves to allow an autopsy. It doesn't matter how. What matters is that he is gone. I can't believe how much I came to love that funny little bird in the 18 months we had him. I have no recent photos of him but at least I have my painting in my office. Perhaps I'll finish it now. Love you Puki.

So very , very sorry for your loss.
:( You gave Puki a great home those 18 months. He was a very lucky (and spoiled) bird.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm glad he was able to have a happy home with you for those 18 months.
I'm very sorry to hear this. Thinking of you in this difficult time.
Oh deario...so very sorry for your loss too Jo.
p.s. Don't be surprised if there's a long line-up of pretty birds at your front door.
Puki's talking about you and your husband's loveliness and word spreads fast among birds. XO
Oh no! That's just terrible. So sad for you and Kelvin. :( xx
Jo, I'm so sorry to hear about Puki. Pets can be such bloody devils the way they wheedle and work their way into our hearts. Before you know it. BAM! They've got you by the proverbials. Take good care.
I'm so sorry to hear about Puki.... Glad you have such a beautiful painting to see and enjoy everyday<3

Oh Jo and Kelvin, that is just so awful. I am so sorry for you both. But what a wonderful little life that bird had with you both, he could not have had more love. Thinking of you both, love Katherine
I understand your sorrow much too much. Sending my love your way.
What a beautiful Jenday. I know personally how much these little buggers get in to your heart. So sorry for your loss, I am sure things are very quiet around home now.
I just found this post and my heart is broken for you. I hope that it hurts a bit less now. I have two green-cheeks and I know how they worm their way into your heart. Birds are amazing... Hard, but amazing. How is Portia doing?
