Fart-arseing

I'm meant to be working on my Faded Empire online store but instead I'm working on a large painting for my living room. The luscious dark brown room. I'm painting in oils and I now remember why I use acrylics. It takes FOREVER to dry. So I'm working the colours over the top and into each other. Fart-arseing around if truth be told. One day I'll finish it. When it dries. So I can add the top layers. If it ever dries. And no the hallway isn't quite finished. I'm doing my best stunt woman impersonation stretching up on a too short ladder :)

When will we be able to have a perv at your wares... It wouldn't let me look and you know I am nosey. I guess this humid weather isn't helping the dry time of your latest work, you will have to show us your progress.

That's a massive canvas Jo. It's going to look great. I typed in open sesame for the password for faded empire but no luck! Ha! Dying to see your store. xx

Looks great. Obviously too late now, but did you know you can do your under painting in acrylic and then paint oils over the top? just not the other way around. I too can't do oils....I'm too impatient. My work is all about being in the moment for as long as it takes to get it done....find it very hard to come back to with the same intensity.

Finished or not I'm inspired yet intimidated to try painting. I love your choice of color, so warm and invigorating! Looking forward to checking out your online store : )!
