Or badly translated into English "The cheerful color range of suits in bright our Nordic home." My office rug made it into the Trend Special 2012 in Allt i Hemmet. I just wish I could manufacture that rug because half the design blog world wants it. I also love how a cheeky little Aussie rug (OK she was Turkish first) made it into a Swedish magazine as a trend for Nordic homes. If any Swedish speakers out there could translate the rest of the page for me I'd be very grateful. You can find a larger size of the scan here.

That is hilarious that your rug which resides in Ipswich is on the cover of Swedish Design mag. It looks fantastic. And sorry to hear that things at home are a so, so at the moment. Thrilled to hear about the new online shop. Just love the logo design. xx

There is actually a typo in the text describing your carpet. "Den glada färgskalan passar i våra ljusa nordiska hem" is probably the way it was intended. "The happy colour range suits our bright Nordic homes".
Ok, my rough translations:
"Danish ceramics and antiquities meets Kelim patterns. Don't miss the home featured on page 68. Loads of Kelim and ceramics!"
"The carpet made by Navajo Indians combines art and function."
"Classical Swedish 17th century embroidery almost looks oriental."
"Dalarna meets Russia meets...
We will see more crafts and ethnical influences, and a lighter, brighter and livelier colour scheme appears, especially in the textiles. The new will suit our bright, naturally light Nordic homes. Possibly this style derives from a yearning for the world to become one, because in folk art we all come together. The red yarn that runs through the chair cover from Dalarna could just as well form the pattern of the Russian shawl, and the geometrical figures of the Navajo carpet might just as well have met the patterns of the Turkish Kelim carpet. You gotta love the blog world. A Swedish to English translation about a magazine feature on rugs is requested and voilà! In no time at all a reader provides a superb translation (not that I'd know of course, but it looks good to me). Many thanks to Maria and congratulations to Jo and her beautiful rug.

Dearest lovely Jo, How totally cool! Feel awful that things are not crash hot for you at the moment, re previous post, and I have been a super slack friend, so slack I had to retype in my info ha.
