A pretty Swedish apartment in a 1930s building

I absolutely adore this apartment for sale in a 1930s buidling in Gothenburg. Many of its original features have been lovingly restored to its former glory such as the beautiful wood floors, limestone window sills, wardrobes and fireplace. Add in some pretty pastel walls, a bit of wallpaper, some gorgeous art and modern furniture, and a bonus mezzanine space and you have quite a beauty. Sinuous and sexy

With a spiral staircase wraps its way upwards like a snake coiling languidly this NYC apartment is seriously sexy. Let's add a third "S" - subtle. The luxury level is high and there are certainly touches of bling but it's pared back, restrained. I love this look. I'm not quite sure what to call it though. It's a definite reference to the 80s in its materials and shapes with a watered down colour palette of that decade's greys and pinks. Like the 80s with a really good IG filter. Then there are hints of Art Deco and mid century. Definitely my new design style crush by Michelle Gerson Interiors.
