More beauty in white. There is just something about all white spaces that are just so peaceful, fresh, homey and gorgeous in photos. This Victorian home in London is no exception.

A home to die for

Living Etc. recently included in their magazine a spread of the incredible eclectic Victorian terrace of Mark Homewood, a buyer for interiors and textile company Designers Guild. I adore all the bold colours against the white backdrop. The painted white floorboards everywhere had me gasping in delight. This home is such an inspiration. (So inspiring in fact that thanks to the staircase photos I've decided to try and fix my stairs using wood so I can then paint them white with a runner).

I can't get enough of white interiors at the moment. White and full of vintage finds and fabrics. Loving this house in London with it's great boho vibe. Another great location house from Shootspaces.

Elena wrote the other day with a dilemma. A fun dilemma I'd say. "I've been reading your blog for a few weeks now and I'm officially hooked.You guys seem to have tons of inspirational room pictures so I was hoping you could help me out - see, my boyfriend and I just bought a gorgeous, plush white couch but I'm not sure how to decorate around it. We have white walls and the rest of our furniture is mostly brown. I was thinking jewel-toned accessories would go nicely and bring in some color, but I'm still not sure. Would it be possible for you guys to post some pictures of rooms with jewel tones and/or white sofas? I need some inspiration!" I readily agreed that jewel-tones would work, and went on the hunt for photos with white (or off-white) couches so Elena could see the endless options she has. Hope this inspires and be sure to send us photos when you've dolled up your couch!

A Canadian's art and an Australian's shop

Since I am off today and am avoiding chores around the house, I thought I would give Jo a little break from a couple WINKS this coming weekend. First, I received an email from Zoe Pawlak, a painter and mom living and working in White Rock, British Columbia. She is incredibly talented, and all her work had me totally intrigued. Lee McCabe also wrote us about a homewares site that his wife Jennifer has just launched, based in Australia. It's called Whiteport, which is a perfectly suitable name because all the products are white. "Our products look equally good in a city loft apartment or a sprawling beach house. White products are simple, timeless and complement any colour scheme."
