I wanted to share another project by interior designer Katherine Carter. This 1921, 8,500 sq ft Tudor Revivial in Hancock Park, LA was likely once dark and dreary and is now light-filled and modern yet it maintains some of the original historic details (now covered in white paint it appears). I would have loved seeing some before photos of this one.
I was crushing hard on this home designed by Venice Beach, CA based interior designer Katherine Carter, and then I discovered the homeowner is Lauren Conrad. :) It is really beautiful - so bright and I adore the casual-elegant vibe. That large white kitchen with black hardware and subway tiles makes me forget I have a thing with black kitchens. And then that dining room! And the Ellie Cashman wallpapered dressing room! Gorg!!! Before the weekend begins I wanted to share a little peek into this project again by Twofold LA. Located in Venice Beach, it has a Cali-boho vibe featuring a gorgeous shibori wallpaper and of course a little bit of glam with the blue velvet with nail-head detail sofa. The fabulous patterns continue in the kitchen with a bold graphic backsplash tile. SO FUN!
West Hollywood interior designer Erin Kane creates simple, relaxed, easy-on-the-eye spaces that endure the test of time. Her designs seamlessly balance function and style. And there's an adorable dog on a banquette bonus photo :)
