The kitchen of my dreams. Modern day living in a historic setting with just enough eclectic touches. Oh and my perfect kitchen has its little imperfections like the old worn floor with its wonderful patina. The Frome kitchen by deVOL. Now if I can just achieve the same look in my own home. Swoon.

Tammy Connor's impeccably curated traditional style transformed this charming log cabin with the most beautiful weathered wood into an absolute gem. Tammy's approach of taking such a rough, rustic structure and making it look so refined yet comfortable is quite something. I adore everything about this.

Perched atop a generously sized waterfront lot in north Seattle with panoramic views of the Puget Sound, the Olympic Peninsula and Olympic mountain range, the aesthetic of the home is classic meets modern and eclectic. It's fun, colorful and whimsical. Perfect for a family that dines most days together in a formal dining room around a table that family members have gathered at for decades to celebrate the best things in life.

A definite flair and restrained elegance, carefully collected and curated, simple, liveable luxury. But perhaps it is the hero of the design, the bold choice of yellow as the statement colour that makes the house so memorable.
