I don't typically use an adjective like 'pretty' to describe a kitchen but it's the first word that came to mind when I saw this space designed by San Francisco and Portland based Caitlin Wilson. Marble subway tile, mostly white cabinets, brass, pastel accents...I can't help it. SO PRETTY!
This ranch-style home in East Hampton, NY is about as bold as it gets, as it usually goes when interior designer and art curator Maria Brito gets her way. Patterns and strong colours are in abundance with some funky wallpapers and of course, some fabulous art. (P.S. I had to share this bold apartment in Moscow I found yesterday on The Village because I love when designers show creativity and take risks. Hats off to Marina Zhukova for having the guts to go all Jonathan Adler-esque in her own space. All of the wild colours used throughout along with all the fabulous wallpapers and tile work make for some serious graphic, dramatic statements.
I am crushing hard on this home designed by London-based Tiffany Duggan of Studio Duggan. It is a eye-catching blend of dark colours, pattern, some pink which always wins me over, and graphic patterned tile. Yes, yes, yes and YES!
I love this contemporary, warm, casual and funky home designed by Regan Baker. It is the perfect blend of modern and comfort. Lots of cool hangout spaces, and I LOVE the graffiti effect paint on the wall in the bedroom. FUN!!!
