Studio Duggan's Edwardian townhouse in Queen's Park

I am totally in love with the home of London interior designer Tiffany Duggan of Studio Duggan. Recently renovated, this Edwardian townhouse is filled with an eclectic blend of styles, textures and patterns. Lots of bold art work and wall colour choices make this eclectic home an absolute treasure.

Bold patterns and colours

Making a bold statement in this gorgeous home in Paddington, Queensland designed by Claire Stevens. Opening the kitchen and living areas to the panoramic city view and recently landscaped garden, as well as reconfiguring circulation paths, increasing room size and maximising storage, were all significant aspects of transforming this recently built reproduction country cottage into an open plan home for a young family. Bespoke joinery is punctuated with a graphic black and white materials palette with walnut, brass and leather detailing adding a subtle sophistication to each space. The client’s eclectic style and affinity for colour and pattern is reflected in the wall and window coverings, light fittings, artwork and furnishings. The result is a home that is a playful juxtaposition between modern and traditional, colour and monochromatic, bold graphic patterns and delicate floral designs. Photos: Toby Scott. Flatiron Loft

At first I was drawn by the large windows. Then I realised they had be picked out in black paint to contrast with the grey walls only to have it dawn on me that it was grey plaster beautifully polished on those walls. Momentarily distracted by the black chandelier hanging from the ceiling my gaze settled on the wood floors. Speaking of floors did you see the floor tiles? Tiles? OMG the powder room and that kitchen and the archway with the cat. Stop it! That bathroom is outrageous. Flatiron loft by Frances Mildred.

Shopping on a Sunday

What a fun shop this is!!! Beehive is a clothing store with a few locations, including this one in Fort Worth, Texas designed by Duffy Stone. I really dig the Miami/80's pastels/tropical vibe going on here. But the best part has to be that Wild Thing wallpaper by Flavor Paper, designed by Ghislaine Viñas. It is made from actual photographs of plants taken by her husband. The perfect wallpaper for those who are plant-obsessed. Gorgeous!!!
