Stalking 1

I'm stalking in Stockholm. An apartment with those old Swedish building bones we all salivate over. You know ... tall windows allowing light to stream in, double doors to fling open as you progress from room to room. It's missing the traditional kakelugn stove but there is a bath tub in the bedroom (in case you need more than the usual white tiled Swedish apartment shower room), a walk-in closet and a terrace. Link here while it lasts via Eklund Stockholm New York.

Why Frank is so Fantastic

It's just a box, a simple cookie cutter studio apartment. Tiny living/sleeping room, entry, bijou kitchen and even smaller bathroom. Yet I want it. Why? Because after the stylist and photographer have finished with it I can't take my eyes off the photos, scanning for covetable objects or clever ideas. I'm already daydreaming that it's my Stockholm pied-à-terre . That's why Frank is so fantastic. Can't have it though. It's sold. Via Fantastic Frank.

When boho scandi grows up

There is still that Scandinavian vibe. You definitely can't miss it. And the cosmopolitan touches that we've come to expect. The palette is white and black with touches of blue and grey. The rooms have that flow. It's Scandinavian alright but this is a sophisticated, mature take on the design style we all love. I'm glad to see that owner doesn't take it all too seriously though ;) I've been stalking the pages of Stockholm realtors Wrede again. A penthouse with city views in the Kungsholmen area of Stockholm. Link here while it lasts.

Inner City Blue

A loft renovation in Stockholm is stylish, relaxed and timeless, a bit like the inspiration pictures that informed the project - a brown cashmere coat, a pair of sand-colored sneakers and a plaza in Rome.

"When it was our turn to renew the the 200 square meter apartment our first step was to simplify everything we felt was too much, in terms of dimensions and materials. The task was to create a relaxed, soft environment and the main interior feature is a dark, low-lying base line that runs like a unifying horizon through the whole apartment. All walls and ceilings are painted in apricot pink and sandy beige tones which gives a soft, hazy atmosphere, creating a dynamic but gentle contrast to the blue-gray base. Nothing in the apartment is white!!"
