Stalking in London

It's 40℃ in my part of the world today (that's actual not "feels like") and I'm starting to think I need to move somewhere else, somewhere cooler (temperature) but definitely hotter (style). How about a 5 bedroom home in London's W10 area? "Embracing a look rooted in tradition, the interiors of this chic five-bedroom home also draw on eclectic, contemporary design to stunning effect. Grand proportions provide the perfect stage to showcase bold colours, ornate wallpapers and statement art." Yes please. I would love to be soaking in that tub in the colourful bathroom right now instead of sweating in today's outrageous heat. Only one problem. The price ... £3,950,000. Link here via Domus Nova.

A 19th century restored home in London

Mornington Terrace is a 19th century, 5 bedroom period home in London that has been sympathetically restored by Undercover Architecture. The house hosts many experimental pieces of joinery, fixtures, lighting, sanitaryware, glazing and furniture. These were exclusively designed and built by Undercover Architecture and partnering artisans, sculptors, and makers. A stunning mix of original architectural details with modern furnishings and painted details. I love how shades of blue were used throughout the house for continuity. Currently for sale via The Modern House. (Interior design by Estelle Chandresinghe).

A grey and white loft apartment for sale in Stockholm

I have a thing for grey, and so I fell in love with this 119 m² loft apartment in Östermalm, Stockholm as soon as I spotted it. White walls make a beautiful backdrop for grey here with subtle accents in colours via plants, the beautiful rattan pendant and the dining chairs. Lovely! For sale via Lagerlings.

Stalking black and white on the water

I'm stalking the epitome of style and relaxed sophistication on the the shores of Sydney's Pittwater in the suburb of Bayview. Black and white with accents of warm woods and the glint of metallics. Effortless transition between the beautiful interiors and the lush landscaped garden. Then there are the views and the fact that you have only to cross the road to feel the sand between your toes. Want. Seriously, seriously want. Link here while it lasts.

Stalking in Sydney 2

My second apartment today is just a suburb or two away in Waterloo. Co-incidentally (or not) it is also by SJB Architects. A smaller, more intimate space over two levels with a moody palette and beautiful stone floors. The fact that it is a short stroll to the fabulous dining and shopping of the Danks Street precinct makes it even more appealing. Link here while it lasts.
