I know it's a long weekend somewhere in the world. It just has to be. So in honour of that long weekend somewhere in the world here is another reading guide to help you fill all those extra leisure hours. No such luck here. We have to wait till Christmas to sneak some time off. Make yourself a pot of tea and settle in. WINKS next week I promise.

So it's Labor Day long weekend in North America. No such luck here but that won't stop me sharing new blogs with you. Any excuse for a reading guide! You know the drill - some are new, some are new to me, some I've been reading for quite some time, some aren't in English and all have loads of eye candy! I'm not jealous that it's a long weekend in another country .... I'm still on holidays :) WINKS next week I promise.

How a WINKS became a reading guide

I swear I was writing a WINKS today. I had sorted through the emails. I had decided what images to use. I had even decided who was going to be the first WINK. That was the problem. The first WINK was going to be a wonderful new blog. The second WINK was yet another great new blog. Then I realised I'd been to a lot of new (to me) blogs recently. Light bulb moment! Time for the next installment in our growing tradition of reading guides. And it's not even a long weekend ... well maybe it is somewhere in the world. Make yourself a coffee, pour yourself a wine. Settle in and explore. I promise WINKS next weekend ;)

It's a long weekend here in Australia. 3 days off in June to celebrate Queen Elizabeth's birthday back in April. I love Australia! So here we go again with another holiday reading guide.
